The 2021 season featured 21 games that required overtime (1.3 games a week). This week in the 2022 season in week 15, 3 games went into overtime. The record for most overtime games in 1 week is 5 games. This week there should have been 4. However, the Patriots decided to play the lateral game against the Raiders in a tied game at the end of regulation. Just as Jakobi Meyers laterals to Mac Jones 20 yards down field, Chandler Jones gets the ball for the Raiders. Taking the lateral for a touchdown. WINNING THE GAME!

Biggest Comeback in NFL History
The Vikings, who overcame a 33-0 halftime deficit to pull off the incredible comeback and capture the NFC North title, own the record for the biggest comeback in NFL history. The Vikings scored the game's final 32 points thanks to Cousins, who threw four touchdown passes in the second half as they overcame a 36-7 deficit with 4:53 left in the third quarter.
With 2:15 remaining in regulation, Kirk Cousins' 64-yard touchdown reception to Dalvin Cook tied the score with Minnesota scoring 22 points in the fourth quarter. With 1:41 left, the Vikings received the ball in overtime after punting on their initial OT possession. Cousins guided the Vikings 60 yards down the field, where Greg Joseph kicked a 40-yard field goal.

Dolphins-Bills gets delayed because of snowballs
Fans tossing snowballs onto the field caused officials to momentarily stop the Buffalo Bills vs. Miami Dolphins game of Saturday's second quarter. If a snowball strikes a player, the Bills will get a 15-yard penalty, it was announced over the stadium's loudspeakers. Another crazy deed week 15 has brought us.
3 Overtime Games

The Chiefs-Texans game was one surprise overtime game of the week. With Butker missing multiple field goals sending the Chiefs and Texans game into OT. The chiefs ending up winning the game on a Mahomes touchdown to McKinnon.
The Colts-Vikings overtime game will live on in the history books as the bigest comeback win in NFL history. The Vikings were losing to the Colts 33-0 at halftime and went into overtime 36-36. The Vikings ended up winning capping off the biggest comeback ever.
The Jaguars-Cowboys went into overtime in a crazy thriller. The Jaguars drove downfeild the last minutes of the game to tie it up. During overtime, the Cowboys dropped the pass resulting in a pick six by the Jaguars winning the game. Jaguars won overtime on a pick six.
(There was about to be 5 overtime games this week which could've tied an NFL record. However, the Raiders got a game winning lateral touchdown against the Patriots and the Jets missed the game tying field goal at 58 yards.)

This game should have been the 4th overtime game this week. It was looking that way as the Patriots went to run the ball to advance the game into OT. However, Stevenson lateraled the ball to Meyers. Meyers then got the ball and went backwards and lateraled it to Mac Jones. Before it arrived to Mac Jones, Chandler Jones decided otherwise. Chandler Jones recovered the lateral then proceeding to stiff arm Mac Jones for the game winning touchdown.
